My name is Larry McGhee and VMHA was absolutely excellent. They worked closely with me from beginning to end. My case is not over yet and the are still assisting me.

These guys are for real, i am probably going to get rated at 100 % PTSD through the VA- Due to my symptoms (arguably- cause nothing is guaranteed with the VA for sure). However, VMHA rated me at 70% most likely when you compare the boxes. But this is FANTASTIC because you do not want a place that over rates you and gives you no credibility with the VA. You can always go up but you can never get your credibility back with the VA. Remember this is also great PRACTICE SESSION for you UNDER PRESSURE and one hour is never enough. But if you do a C and P exam with the VA you may likely not even have a full hour from all the posts that i have read. The CEO DWAYNE did exactly what he said he would do and did it before the time that he said. Remember this is step ONE of possibly many steps. Trust this man and his doctors, they will help you convey your true story. I saw the exacting rigors of why the VA will always end up trusting VMHA recommendations in my IMO. My stressor was apx 36 years ago and I knew I would get awarded money about 20 years ago when i talked with other veterans and heard their stories. but i did not want to talk about this mess of my PTSD. Don’t be like me and wait because you dont know who to trust (get the help you need)! I have seen that VMHA is trustworthy. I did not have the money and VMHA was going to do some financing for me, I got lucky and something came up so i could pay cash for it, but once again- who does that for people? I have used VMHA to help with my VA claim I was scared at first but after Dwayne talked to me and I had a incident I decide why not The psychiatrist that I had was awesome she listened and didn’t make me feel judged during our session and asked me questions that had me open up about how I am and how I was feeling The IMO is very good. Professional looking and has all the information a va rater needs to move the claim along With all this said I could not recommend VMHA enough for veterans that actually have issues to get what the need Thank you VMHA

VMHA was heaven sent! I have had a really rough time researching and finding a company that felt compassionate and trustworthy then along came the VMHA team. Everyone was so accommodating and transparent in the process and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of individuals. The owner Dwayne is top tier! He was very flexible and understanding about my financial situation and offered great payment options to mitigate one less stressor. Mrs. Desirae was an amazing assistant as well and was ALWAYS available thru call, email or text. And to top it all off, Dr. Moses was the icing!! The most compassionate, understanding and professional psychologist that one could ever dream of. Her attention to detail, diagnosis expertise and nexus letter was the prize. Excellent service provided by this proud veteran owned business. The Independent Medical Opinion was delivered on time and the interview was easy to schedule. Veterans using this service should understand that VMHA providers do not complete the optional Disability Benefits Questionnaire for submission to the VA.

Dwayne was great answered all of my questions, even after hours. That means a lot to me because he was flexible and helped me address my concerns when my schedule permitted. The doctor that I was scheduled to see me was great, she listened to me was non-judgmental and helped me hash out what I am experiencing. vhma is an outstanding company ran by a vet to help vets when i applied for va benifits i put down ptsd depression and anxiety which i have been battling since i returned from desert storm the vadidnt give me phyc eval and denied my claim speaking to a vet advacite refered me to vhma dwanyedwards is a very caring man i suffered a stroke 4 yrs ago and my computor skills became very limited mr edwards took the time to walk me thru the process step by step the doctor that did my eval was more caring then any behavioral heath person ive have seen in 30 years vmha is a very pain free process in the ongoing battle with the va it is nice to have someone in your corner thank you vhma and dwayne edwards

My complete experience with VMHA has been positive. From the beginning with their admin staff to my session with Dr. Edward’s. The atmosphere was comfortable and I was able to easily describe my experience while serving and the difficulties I’ve had during and after. The IMO was very comprehensive and professionally prepared. I highly recommend VMHA. They deliver exactly what they advertise and nothing less. A class organization. My experience with VMHA was excellent. I’ve personally referred them to friends and veterans who are frustrated with navigating the mental health assessment process. Their doctor demonstrated compassion and empathy during the evaluation and provided a thorough documentation of the exam.

The process was very straight forward. The most important aspect was being able to communicate my concerns and feel as if I’d been heard. My Therapist was very compassionate and easy to talk with. Overall I am very satisfied with the experience. I’ve submitted all documentation to the VA, and am now waiting for a response/decision. Praying for favorable outcome.🙏🙏🙏
